_Research: 

I have a longstanding interest in transmission dynamics of multi-strain pathogen systems such as the coronavirus family, with particular emphasis on the role of isolation in exacerbating epidemics.   I am also interested in the formulation of public policy and the dangers of doing so without taking into account the broader socio-economic consequences and the effects on the arts.
